Luxury Car Transport & Exotic Shipping
We've moved Hennesseys. We can move yours.
Soft-tie, lift-gate-loaded, single-vehicle trailers on request. Discretion default. Based in Austin, TX, door-to-door, nationwide.
What Is Luxury & Exotic Car Transport?
The handling, discretion, and accountability a six-figure car requires.
Luxury car transport is the service level built around the car's value. Every vehicle we move in this segment runs enclosed, loads by lift gate, and rides on soft ties or wheel straps, so nothing contacts the chassis or the paint. The equipment is the baseline. The rest is protocol: a driver briefed on your specific car before arrival, photographs and a Bill of Lading at both ends, and one accountable person from your driveway to the delivery address.
Handling is planned before the truck arrives. For anything low, we brief the driver on splitter height, nose lift, and loading approach in advance, and the lift gate removes the approach angle entirely, so a GT3 or an Aventador loads flat. One driver keeps the car from pickup to delivery, and it is never driven between trailers, so it arrives with essentially the mileage it left with. Single-vehicle exotic car shipping is available when the car should travel alone.
Discretion is the default. Unmarked trailers are the norm in this segment, we do not publicize routes, dates, or client names, and the driver releases the car only to the person named on the order. Carrier selection holds to the same standard: every job goes to a vetted carrier we know by name, never to whichever truck bids lowest. Whether the car is a Ferrari coming off a dealer floor or a Bentley moving between homes, the protocol is identical.

How Our Luxury & Exotic Car Transport Works
01
Tell us about the car
Origin ZIP, destination ZIP, year/make/model, and when you can ship. The estimate comes back by text, usually within minutes.
02
Lock in the rate and date
We confirm a price, schedule a pickup window, and dispatch a carrier we've worked with. You get the driver's name and MC number before they leave.
03
Pickup
The driver arrives briefed on your car's splitter height, nose lift, and loading approach. Every panel is photographed and the Bill of Lading signed, then the car rides the lift gate up onto soft ties. Keys pass only through the person named on the order.
04
Delivery
You receive updates en route. The vehicle is photographed again at drop-off, and you inspect and sign the Bill of Lading to close out the shipment.
Exotic Car Shipping Cost
Where the cost of moving an exotic comes from.
Every move here runs enclosed, so quotes start from enclosed rates. Three variables move the number.
- VEHICLE VALUE & CLEARANCE
- Higher values require carriers with cargo limits to match; very low cars require lift-gate equipment and experienced hands. Both tighten the carrier pool.
- DISTANCE
- Total cost rises with miles while the per-mile rate falls. Figure about a day in transit per 400–500 miles.
- SERVICE LEVEL
- Single-vehicle service gives your car the trailer to itself at roughly 2–3x the shared enclosed rate. Pickup windows typically run 3–7 days either way.
- Cross-country, shared enclosed
- $1,500–$2,500
- Single-vehicle enclosed
- 2–3x shared
Send the route and the vehicle. We'll text your luxury & exotic estimate within minutes.
Why Choose Nick's Auto Transport for Luxury & Exotic Car Transport?
The trailer is the easy part. You are choosing the protocol and the person accountable for it.
Handling planned before arrival
Lift-gate loading removes the approach angle, and soft ties keep hardware off the chassis. Splitter height and nose lift are briefed before arrival. Nothing is improvised.
Discretion as standard
Unmarked trailers are the norm. Routes, dates, and client names stay private, and the car is released only to the person named on the order.
Coverage confirmed against the car's value
Enclosed cargo policies typically run $250,000–$1M+ per vehicle. Above a carrier's limit we confirm adequate coverage before dispatch and share the certificate of insurance first.
One accountable person
One driver has custody end to end, and one person manages the move from estimate to delivery. Carriers are vetted and named.

Frequently Asked Questions About Luxury & Exotic Car Transport
Still have a question? Text or call 1-866-512-1871.
How do you load a lowered car?
Always enclosed, with experienced drivers and equipment designed for low cars. Specialized ramps and lift-gate platforms remove the approach angle, so a splitter or fixed lip loads clean. We brief the driver on splitter height, nose lift, and loading approach before arrival, and soft ties or wheel straps hold the car clear of chassis and paint.
Can my car be the only vehicle on the trailer?
Yes. For door-to-door exotic transport, that is generally how it is done: your car is the only vehicle on the trailer and the truck makes no stops for other customers, at roughly 2–3x the shared enclosed rate. It is the standard for new deliveries and any car where the trailer should stay shut until it arrives.
Who is allowed to receive the car at delivery?
Whoever you specify. When you book, you name who is able to sign for the car at pickup and at delivery, whether that is you, a house manager, a shop, or a member of your staff. The driver releases the car and keys to that person alone.
Is carrier coverage enough for a car worth more than $250,000?
Talk to us about the car's value up front; keeping the vehicle covered at every point in the move is a priority. Enclosed cargo policies typically run from $250,000 to more than $1 million per vehicle, and above a given carrier's limit we confirm adequate coverage before dispatch. You receive the certificate of insurance before pickup either way.
What does exotic car shipping cost?
Most cross-country moves on a shared enclosed trailer land between $1,500 and $2,500. Shipping a Lamborghini or comparable car on a dedicated single-vehicle trailer runs roughly 2–3x that. Send the route and the exact car for a firm number: the price you book is the price you pay.
Why book luxury car transport through Nick's Auto Transport?
We have moved some of the most expensive cars in the world for some of the most exclusive clients, and there are few supercar quirks we have not already solved. We understand what clients at this level expect. One person manages your move from estimate to handoff, one driver has custody the entire way, the car is photographed at both ends, and your details stay private.
Will the price change after I book?
Rarely, and never without your say-so. The price you book is the price you pay, and we hold it. Two things can move a locked price: a change to the shipment itself, such as a new destination or a vehicle that turns out to be non-running, or an unusual market swing on your route, meaning diesel, driver supply, or seasonal demand shifting enough that no carrier will run the lane at the quoted rate. That second one is uncommon. If it happens we call you before anything is charged, and you decide whether to go ahead.
